Shocking Facts about the Illuminati You Won’t Believe!

Illuminati Facts

The Illuminati, also known as the Order of the Illuminated or the Enlightened Ones, is a name given to several groups, both real and fictitious. Historically, the name usually refers to a 17th-century group of intellectuals centered around Jesuit priests who were accused of heresy and disbanded by Pope Innocent X in 1623.

The word Illuminati is a Latin word meaning “enlightened” which is why people believe that the group has some connection to the Illuminati. There are many conspiracy theories about the origins of the Illuminati. Some say it is a political group, others say it is an organization that hides its true motives.

The society’s goals are to establish equality among all people and to abolish other inequalities such as monarchy and organized religion. The society also wanted to abolish poverty and provide education for children. These goals were not achieved because the society was discovered and disbanded in 1785 when Bavarian authorities raided their headquarters in Ingolstadt, Germany.

The word Illuminati comes from Illuminism or Illuminist and refers to self-empowerment through knowledge and the original Illuminati goal was to create a world where there would be no wars or conflicts with everyone being equal and free, but they failed at that because of the trials after the French Revolution. They became a scapegoat for everything bad that happened in Europe, which led them into secrecy and seclusion with most of their members dying out by 1800s.
